Joseph Anthony Sorisi, Chief Executive Officer, President, CTO, CIO

Mr. Joseph A. Sorisi is a highly motivated and skilled entrepreneurial leader who brings over 20 years of experience in management as a CEO, CTO and CIO with fortune, mid size and startup experience including business to consumer and business to business industries utilizing Internet and back office technology as services. He is a well rounded executive who possesses strong knowledge of Internet and Information Technology, SEO & Marketing, Business Process, Operations, Finance and Strategic Planning. He has a proven record of developing and scaling operations with focus on improving the customer experience, increasing revenues and managing costs. He is a bottom line thinker and leverages his own experiences and his industry contacts to scale business and raise capital to achieve organizational goals and increase shareholder value.

Mr. Sorisi, joined B2X in 2006, as Chief Technology Officer and after successfully leading the design, development and deployment of the 5 year business plan, business processes and internet based global trading platform he secured a number of key contracts for the company enabling growth. As a result of his accomplishments he was appointed as Chief Executive Officer and President in September 2007and was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors. He developed over 10 patents and was instrumental in the launching of the companies and worlds first Internet based Global B2B trading platform enabling over $50 million dollars of online commerce trade between US Retailer, Distributors, e-Tailers with Asian Manufacturers and was very instrumental in securing over $50 million in investment and led efforts to prepare the company for a future IPO.

Prior to joining B2X, he was Chief Information Officer of Platform Learning, responsible for the design, development and deployment of a national online education system where he grew what was a $13 million dollar offline company into a $75 million dollar online service organization.

Prior to Platform, Mr. Sorisi was the Corporate Vice President of IT Operations at Columbia House Company, a multi -billion dollar online, phone, and direct mail consumer products, marketing and entertainment retailer with over 4,000 employees and 12 million members. In this position, Mr. Sorisi was responsible for IT strategy and planning and led the redesign and optimization of the companies Internet commerce site offering over 50,000 sku’s and call center CRM technology and operations resulting in increased revenues of more than 20%, decreased operating costs by more than 10% and led the companies online Search Engine Optimization resulting in increased traffic and buyers.

Previously he was Vice-President, Technology for USA Networks, a multi-billion dollar e-commerce company owned by Barry Diller with global brands including Ticketmaster where he served as the Vice President of Technology. USA brands also included Expedia, Hotels.com, Home Shopping Network, City-search, and LendingTree.com. In this role, he was a member of the corporate electronic commerce services holding company with technical operations oversight of Internet and offline properties.

Mr. Sorisi, served as the Vice President of Technology, for Ticketmaster, a billion dollar e-commerce and offline services company where during his tenure he was responsible for all technology planning and development for multiple U.S. and international operations. Mr. Sorisi was instrumental in developing and deploying the companies first B2C internet web site and over 16 global call centers and 4 global data centers scaling the company over 8 years from early stage growth with revenues of $50 million to several billion dollar global success.


Prior to Ticketmaster, Mr. Sorisi was with Intelogic Trace, Inc., a division of Data-point Corporation, a 200 million dollar provider of software, systems and IT services for Fortune clients where over 5 years he held a number of positions of importance.

Mr. Sorisi holds a degree in Electronics Technology from DeVry Institute of Technology.
